TicklePedia - Tickling
So you’ve played around, found some techniques that work for you and are looking for inspiration on where to go next? We can help you there but first a word of warning. Some of these techniques can cause extreme reactions so you may want to think about bringing some form of bondage to your play for the safety of both you and your partner.
That being said, let’s start with the feet. These are often one of the most effective spots for tickling but they’re also one of the trickiest to work with. Fingers racing up and down soles, wiggling in between toes or swirling from heel to toe and back again can all be very effective. For the brave your mouth and teeth can be devastating tools. Flicking teeth over the heel, the ball of the foot and the toes themselves can send your partner insane but please be gentle to start with and make sure your partner can’t kick your teeth down your throat accidentally.
If you’re confident about knowing your own strength then hard squeezes to the knees, thighs, ribs, armpits and even the calves can be devastating. Just remember that this can and will hurt if done too hard or for too long so mix it up folks. The stomach is a prime target for cruel ticklers and a simple but very effective technique is to simply blow raspberries over your partners belly button. Just make sure to keep your lips loose so you get a nice vibration from the air. Oh, and also remember that your head is in prime position to be squashed like a grape if your partner folds up from your attentions and make sure to protect yourself.
Of course there’s always tools which can provide a wide range of sensations for your partner while helping you conserve your strength or catch a breather. Toothbrushes, both electric and standard, are often very effective on the feet, stomach and armpits but remember that you’re applying a hard brush to the skin so use sparingly. Electric flossers are available that can be lethal when applied between the toes as are thin strings or cords (just watch out for rope burn).
It’s surprising just how many everyday items can be turned into tickling tools. Everything from handheld fans to steak tenderizers and compressed air dusters can work but treat anything like that with caution and test them on yourself first. Yes, even if you hate being tickled, it’ll give you a very good idea of how much pressure you can use and the sort of sensations it’s likely to cause your partner.
A couple of very useful items to have in your toolchest are baby oil and feathers. Baby oil can make the skin very very sensitive and increase the sensations for your partner but it also reduces the chance of pain from repeated tickling, especially from toys such as electric toothbrushes. Feathers are a bit of a red herring, they don’t really tickle as much as everyone says but they do give a very nice, sexy tingle which can be just what you need to give your partner a break.
Basically, when it comes to tickling virtually anything goes and it’s amazing how inventive people can be. Feel free to play around, find what does and doesn’t work for both you and your partner just, please, for the sanity of all of us here at Tickle Brits, be careful and play safe.
