TicklePedia - Tickle brits
So what is this ‘Ticklepedia’? How did it come about, what’s it supposed to do, who’s it for and who runs it?
To put it simply the ticklepedia is intended to act as a single site that brings together information about the tickling fetish in a way that’s accessible to those new to the community. It’s run by the Tickle Brits web site and links to their forums, formally known as the UKTF (UK Tickle Forums), for discussing topics in the ticklepedia and to provide a community resource for those wishing to learn more about the subject.
It exists primarily because the admin team at Tickle Brits realised that there really wasn’t a simple, easy and logical way for newcomers to find out more information and, in some cases, convince themselves that not only were they far from alone in their desires but that it was perfectly normal to feel this way. Yes, there are several large tickling communities out there but they tend to be a little intimidating and there’s precious little information anywhere else.
The Ticklepedia itself is split into four information sections:
*Tickling - information on and about the tickling fetish
*Tickle Brits - information about the UK community and the events they support.
*Relationships - information about forming and maintaining relationships within both the tickling and wider fetish communities.
*Other Fetishes - an attempt to introduce those fetishes most often linked with tickling and how to go about experiencing them.
In addition there are supporting sections dealing with external resources and links to the Tickle Brits forums.
All content is created by members of the Tickle Brits community and anything and everything is open for debate in the dedicated threads in the Tickle Brits forum. It is our hope that over time these discussion threads will add considerable depth to the articles themselves and that the best points from these threads can be integrated into the original article.
The site itself is run and maintained by the Tickle Brits administration team who take on this responsibility in addition to acting as moderators for the Tickle Brit forum. Most members of this team are also actively involved in organising munches and/or gatherings and are active participants in other fetish events.
Ultimately the Ticklepedia is a means to an end and that end is to grow the tickling community in the UK by making it easier for people to find out more about the fetish itself and help guide them into the community if they have any questions that aren’t answered here. We hope that, in time, it will be a useful resource for all those interested in tickling, regardless of location, and that it helps as many people as possible relax and enjoy the world of tickling.
